Since December 2022, our innovation team has been leveraging the power of the OpenAI API to create groundbreaking projects, primarily focusing on business process automation and multimodal research. One of our most notable achievements in AI this year has been utilizing the OpenAI API to create an AI recruitment system, which has greatly enhanced the efficiency and volume of our cleared recruiting and hiring process. We are thrilled to announce that this month, Lion Federal has been granted developer access to begin building ChatGPT Plugins by OpenAI and have promptly initiated the development of two plugins. Lion Federal and Ventera Corporation’s Joint Venture, DigiCloud Services, LLC has begun work on the General Services Administration Office of Inspector General’s Cloud Migration Services contract. Our team is migrating GSA’s on-premises legacy systems to Microsoft 365 and Azure. The scope of this work will include O365, SharePoint, Teams Voice, organizational device management, network file migration, and security assurance.
Lion Federal was awarded the Army Resilience Directorate Information Technology Support Services contract as the prime. Our team will provide ITSS for ARD systems as a prime contractor to ensure that systems are fully compliant with the Department of Defense, the US Army and the hosting facilities' policies and regulations. We will support this very important mission of the Army's Drug and Alcohol management information system, Risk Reduction Application, and Systems Branch, ARD Websites. ITSS services will include maintenance, sustainment, security, help desk, training, and data analysis of ARD systems.

The Lion Federal Back-Office Team volunteered with FACETS to distribute food to the homeless in Fairfax County. The team used a FACETS van loaded with pizza, fruit and water to deliver more than 120 meals to those in need. The team was honored to be part of such a great cause. Lion Federal developed application, Automated Export System Direct (AESDirect), goes live to all trade users. Thousands of users are now able to file their exports with US Census and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) through this Lion Federal modernized application. The trade can now login into the CBP Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, and go directly into AESDirect to file their export information. This application was built for both the US Census for statistical purposes and for CBP to screen exports.
Lion Federal team has been working diligently at Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to design, develop, and deliver a trade facing application. This application allows the trade to file their exports with Census and CBP. After a little over a year of development, the application went live to the trade right after Thanksgiving. Census is encouraging their thousands of users to switch over from the legacy system to this modernized platform. This is a big win for the Lion Federal team, which continues to get praises from their customer and the trade for the modernization!
